STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University adds a sixth academic college—the College of Health Sciences and Human Services—this fall to better serve some 1,600 students already enrolled in successful, established programs in medical lab sciences, public health, social work, counseling and nursing.
More than 1,600 students, faculty and staff rolled up their sleeves to tackle 155 community projects during Tarleton State University’s 18th annual Round Up this past Saturday, setting an all-time record for number of volunteers and jobs completed.
Tarleton State University students take to the community this Thursday, April 7, for the school’s first Service Day. More than 100 service opportunities—everything from cleaning the Bosque River to teaching senior citizens computer basics—are on the “to do” list.
