Counseling

The Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Education Programs (CACREP).

Dr. Sam Pack College of Business

Accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) to award BBA, MBA, BS, BAAS, MS, and MACC Degree. The last accreditation review took place in 2022 and the next visit will take place in 2032.

Diagnostic Molecular Scientist

Accredited by National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS) to award Certificates for Diagnostic Molecular Scientist (DMS). The last accreditation review took place in 2019 and the next visit will take place in 2029.

Education

Approved by Texas Education Agency (TEA) to recommend for Educator Certificates. Accreditation reviews are done annually based on TExES Scores.

Electrical Engineering

Music

Accredited by National Association of Schools of Music (NASM) to award Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music, and Master of Music in Music Education degrees. The last accreditation review took place in 2010 and remains current. 

Nursing

Approved by Texas State Board of Nursing (BON) to provide undergraduate nursing curriculum for eligibility to take the examination for a registered nurse (RN) license after graduation.

Social Work

Accredited by the Council on Social Work Education. 

BSW – Last accredited February 2020, next accreditation is 2028.

MSW – Last accredited July 2023, next accreditation is 2031.

The athletic program is in compliance with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA).
