The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act/Right-to-Know booklet includes statistics for the previous three years concerning reported crimes that occurred on-campus; in certain off-campus buildings or property owned or controlled by Tarleton State University; and on public property within, or immediately adjacent to and accessible from, the campus. The report also includes institutional policies concerning campus security, such as policies concerning sexual assault, and other matters. Campus Security Authority Reference Material

The Office of University Compliance in cooperation with the Tarleton Police Department have published the below pictured Campus Security Authority Reference Manual.

A Campus Security Authority (CSA) is a Clery-specific term that encompasses the following groups of individuals and organizations associated with an institution whose functions involve relationships with students: security and law enforcement officers, special events security staff, deans (or other senior student administrative personnel), coaches, residence hall staff, physicians or nurses in a campus health center, overseers and advisors to student clubs and organizations, and staff involved in student discipline and campus judicial proceedings.

As a CSA if someone tells you about a crime or an incident that may be a crime, and you have little or no reason to doubt the validity of the information, you must record the information on a Crime Statistic Report Form and submit the report to the Tarleton Police Department in a timely manner.
