STEPHENVILLE—Tarleton State University comes to Arlington on Saturday, Sept. 24, to showcase more than 90 bachelor’s and graduate degree programs and provide opportunities for students to apply to Texas’ premier student-focused university.

The second annual Tarleton on Tour takes place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Arlington Convention Center, 1200 Ballpark Way. The free event provides opportunities to meet representatives from the university’s College of Graduate Studies and six undergraduate colleges: Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, Business Administration, Education, Health Sciences and Human Services, Liberal and Fine Arts, and Science and Technology.

With locations in Stephenville, Fort Worth, Waco and Midlothian, as well as a Global Campus, Tarleton serves more than 13,000 students from all parts of Texas and more than 22 foreign countries. Many transfer from community colleges and other universities to complete their degree.

Tarleton offers 65 accredited undergraduate and 27 graduate degrees, including a doctoral program in educational leadership.

Attendees will have the opportunity to hear presentations on financial aid and the Texas Success Initiative. Academic advisers and Student Life representatives will provide information and answer questions.

Application fees will be waived for the first 25 undergraduates and for all graduate-level candidates who apply during the event. Those planning to apply on the spot should bring test scores and official transcripts.

Parking is free in the convention center lot. Just mention Tarleton on Tour.
