Silver Taps Begins Tarleton Founder’s Week

Tarleton State University will observe Silver Taps at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 19, to honor members of the university family — alumni, faculty, staff and friends — who passed away during the previous year.Part of Tarleton Founder’s Week, this year’s ceremony takes place at Alumni Island in the heart of the Stephenville campus. The public is invited.

Tarleton Wind Ensemble to Present ‘Riffs for Lenny’

Tarleton SGA Collecting Water for Firefighters, Emergency Personnel

Tarleton ULTRA Club Big Band Dance to Benefit Fine Arts Students

Tarleton to Operate on Modified Schedule for Spring Break

Spring break hours will be implemented March 7-11 at Tarleton State University. All university offices will close Friday, March 11, and fully reopen Monday, March 14.

Tarleton College of Science and Technology Hosts Spring Star Party

Tarleton’s College of Science and Technology will host its free spring Star Party at 6:30 p.m. Friday, March 4, at the Hunewell Ranch observatory. Stars and deep space objects will be visible through Tarleton’s 32-inch reflecting research telescope and several smaller scopes.

Tarleton State University’s Rural Communication Institute and the Tarleton Foundation received a $47,300 Your Shot Texas grant to provide COVID-19 vaccine support for Anderson, Cherokee, Harrison, Henderson, Panola and Shelby counties in Northeast Texas.
