Tarleton’s Gordon Center to Host Halloween Trunk or Treat

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Trick-or-treaters looking to score some sweets on Halloween might want to check out Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center for the Industrial History of Texas in Thurber, which is hosting a free trunk or treat from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Community organizations and businesses will be handing out candy. Costumes are encouraged, and all ages are welcome.

The event is made possible thanks to a partnership with businesses in Strawn, Gordon and Mingus.

The museum, located at exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene, is open 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
