Tarleton’s Timberlake Biological Field Station welcomes Comanche students

March 25 and 26 were exciting days for fourth-graders at Comanche Elementary School.

 

 

 

They spent those days along the Colorado River as they got safely up close and personal with the flora and fauna of Tarleton State University’s Timberlake Biological Field Station, making plant presses, learning about the various plant species and studying quail populations using the scientific method.

Rally at Rudder to send Ranger Challenge team to West Point contest

It’s a Texan-style pep rally at 3 p.m. Friday, April 5, to send Tarleton State University’s Army ROTC Ranger Challenge team to the prestigious Sandhurst Military Skills Competition at West Point in New York. Everyone’s invited.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The rally takes place at the statue of Maj. Gen. James Earl Rudder on the Stephenville campus.
