Learn more about accepting your award, viewing your award history, as well as how loans are disbursed.

How To

Accept Your Award
  1. Log into your myGateway account
  2. Select DuckTrax
  3. Choose Online Services and Financial Aid
  4. Choose Financial Aid
  5. Select Award
  6. Choose Award for Aid Year
  7. Select the Current Year
  8. Select the Accept Award Offer tab
  9. Accept/Decline Award
View Award History
  1. Please log into your myGateway account
  2. Select DuckTrax
  3. Choose Online Services and Financial Aid
  4. Select Financial Aid
  5. Choose Award History
  6. View either Status or Award

All students will receive award notification electronically, this will be sent to your go.tarleton.edu email.

Post Loan Processing

After your loan has been processed you can:

  • Reduce Your Loan
  • Request an Increase
  • Cancel Your Loan

To request an increase or cancel your loan you will need to submit a Revision Request in myGateway. To reduce your loan, email a request to the Office of Financial Aid.

Steps to Submit a Loan Revision Request

  1. Log into myGateway
  2. Select the Student tab and choose DuckTrax
  3. Choose Online Services & Financial Aid
  4. Select Financial Aid
  5. Choose Loan Revision Request
  6. Fill out form & submit

Title IV Authorization

In order to use Federal Student Aid funds to pay for allowable education related charges other than tuition, fees, and room and board, you must complete a Title IV Authorization.

How to Complete the Title IV Authorization

  1. Log into myGateway
  2. Select the Student tab and choose DuckTrax
  3. Choose Online Services & Financial Aid
  4. Select Financial Aid
  5. Choose Award
  6. Select Award for Aid Year
  7. Select Current Year
  8. Select the Resources/Additional Information tab
  9. Scroll down and indicate Yes/No in the drop down

How Loans are Disbursed

Tarleton first applies all of your financial aid to your student account including student loan proceeds (this does not include student work). After the payment of tuition, required fees, and room and board (if you live on campus) have been withdrawn from your total aid, a credit may result.

Schedule an Appointment

Prospective Students:

Prospective students are students that have been admitted but have not enrolled in classes, applied but have not received an admission decision, or have not applied for admission.

Please contact our office to schedule an appointment.

Current Students:

  1. Login to EAB Navigate with your UID and password (same as myGateway). If you have problems with your password, use Tarleton Password Manager or call 254-968-9885 to reset your password.
  2. Select schedule an appointment
  3. Select Texan Services as the appointment type
  4. Choose how you would like to your appointment to be conducted (in person, by phone, zoom chat)
