STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s Career Services Center will host its annual Fall Job Fair Wednesday, Oct. 5. This event will allow students, alumni and the community an opportunity to meet businesses in various industries currently hiring.

The event will begin at 10 a.m. and continue until 2 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center (TSC) Ballrooms. It is a come-and-go event with appropriate business attire required. Participants are encouraged to bring their résumé and other applicable materials. A list of employers attending the job fair can be found online at www.tarleton.edu/careers under Hire A Texan.

Prior to the Fall Job Fair, Career Services will also host a Pre-Job Fair Employer Panel where students can interact with employers on a more personal level and receive career advice. The panel will take place in TSC Room 27 from 9-10 a.m. After the Job Fair will be the Post-Job Fair Mixer, in TSC Room 27 from 2-3 p.m., where select students can mix and mingle with our top partners including Fastenal, National Guard, Richemont and Pecan Valley Centers.

Employers interested in participating in the Fall Job Fair can register for the event through Hire A Texan at www.tarleton.edu/careers. The registration fee is $150 for employers, with $75 to have an extra display table. The $120 early bird registration rate ends Sept. 2, and the late registration fee of $180 begins after the Sept. 30 regular deadline.

The Career Services Center is located on the second floor of the Thompson Student Center, Room 218 and is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. For more information, visit www.tarleton.edu/careerservices.
