On campus since 1994, the Sigma Omicron Chapter is the only National Pan-Hellenic Council sorority at Tarleton. Its principles are founded on scholarship, service, sisterhood and finer womanhood.

“I am truly honored with the recognition my chapter has received from the West Texas State Director,” said chapter President Michaela Dennis, a junior communication studies major. “Our chapter is small but mighty. We will continue to live out the values of our organization.”

The chapter has seven members and has its sights set on intentional growth.

“This is a wonderful accomplishment for our students,” said Darrell Brown, Executive Director of the Tarleton Center for Leadership, Service and Outreach. “Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., provides valuable experiences to our students and is an asset to the university.”
