Tarleton Symphonic Band Gears up for ‘Let’s Dance’

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The Tarleton State University Symphonic Band will present “Let’s Dance,” a concert featuring various forms of dance music, at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 5, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville.

Expect everything from mambo and shaker dance to mosh pits and jazz, including “Scootin’ on Hardrock” by David Holsinger and John Zdechlik’s “Chorale and Shaker Dance.”

Tarleton’s Symphonic Band is under the direction of Dr. Gary Westbrook.

Admission is $5, or free with a Tarleton ID. The box office will open at 6:30 p.m., and all seating is general admission.
