STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Erath Engaged will host its first virtual Rural Mental Health
Summit at 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 31 over Zoom.
The virtual summit begins with a spotlight on mental health concerns in rural areas accomplished through interactive and engaging activities. The summit will also introduce rural mental health statistics through an interactive trivia challenge.
The Erath Engaged team will also reflect on mental health challenges and opportunities from a student perspective. The summit will end with an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) representative who will highlight the various mental health approaches utilized by rural EMS departments.

New and seasoned faculty and staff can benefit from the student panel and the general information focused rural mental health. Community members can benefit from the rural mental health statistics and the mental health response services available in the Erath County community.
