Tarleton State University’s administrative offices will be closed Friday, June 19, in observance of Juneteenth (Emancipation Day in Texas). Several campus facilities will operate on a modified schedule.
The Dining Hall, Chick-fil-A and Dunkin’ Donuts will operate on standard summer hours. Buffalo Wild Wings will close at 10 p.m.
The University Health Center will close for in-person visits. Students can access mental health and well-being resources 24/7 by contacting TELUS Health at 866-743-7732, visiting studentsupport.telushealth.com/us/home, or calling the center’s after-hours answering service at 254-968-9044.
On June 19, the Campus Recreation Center will be open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and the Aquatics Center will be open 1-5 p.m. Both will be open 1-5 p.m. Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21.
Both the Dick Smith Library in Stephenville and the Rickett Library in Fort Worth will be closed on Friday, June 19, and will reopen Monday, June 22, at 7:30 a.m. and 9 a.m., respectively.
Texan Outfitters will be open 11 a.m.-5 p.m. They will revert to normal hours Saturday, June 20.
Regular campus operation hours will resume Monday, June 22. In case of an on-campus emergency, contact the University Police Department at 254-968-9265, or dial 911.
