Tarleton State Holiday Lighting Set for Thursday Night

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s annual holiday lighting celebration will be at 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2, in front of the Dick Smith Library in the center of the Stephenville campus. The event dates to the 1980s and marks the start of the holiday season.

The library, the Administration Building and Admin Annex 2, the Tarleton Center, the O.A. Grant Building, the Joe Autry Agriculture Building and the Thompson Student Center all will be lit for the holidays, as will the Trogdon House, which is celebrating its centennial.

The public is invited. Holiday snacks and hot beverages will be served.

The event is sponsored by Campus Life & Family Engagement, Recreation Center, Resident Life, Tarleton Activities Board, and Student Government Association, all as a part of the Division for Student Engagement & Success, and the Office of Student Global and Community Connections as a part of The Division of Global, Community, and First-Gen. Initiatives.
