Tarleton State Closed To Observe Juneteenth Holiday

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — In observance of Juneteenth (Emancipation Day in Texas), all Tarleton State University administrative offices will close Thursday, June 19. Normal operating hours resume June 20.

The Student Health and Counseling Center, Tarleton Alumni Association offices and the university’s Welcome Center, all in Stephenville, along with the Rickett Library in Fort Worth, will close for the day.

The Campus Recreation Center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and the Dick Smith Library in Stephenville will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
