Tarleton sponsors Association of Certified Fraud Examiners seminar April 20

FORT WORTH, Texas—Registration is open for a half-day seminar on fraud protection sponsored by Tarleton-Fort Worth and the Fort Worth chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE). The seminar takes place April 20 at the university’s Fort Worth campus, 6777 Camp Bowie Blvd.

Featured speakers are Nathan Mueller, a convicted fraudster; Shawn Tuma, partner with Scheef & Stone LLP; and Jim McConnell, who oversees corporate security for Verizon.

Participants who stay for the entire seminar, which begins with a 9 a.m. check-in, receive four hours of Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credit. To register, go to http://www.fwacfe.org/event-2154488.

Cost is $75 for Fort Worth ACFE chapter members, $125 for nonmembers, $75 for students, and includes lunch.
