STEPHENVILLE, Texas — It’s a win-win.

During November, the Tarleton State University Police Department is accepting parking citation payments for half price with a food gift to the Tarleton and Stephenville communities.

Drop off non-perishable food items and a purchase receipt to the Police Department at Frey and Harbin streets and receive a 50 percent break on outstanding citation balances. For example, $10 worth of food pays off a $20 balance.

Donations will be distributed to the Tarleton Food Pantry and the Huston Academy Food Pantry. The program applies to Tarleton citations issued prior to Oct. 31, 2018.
