STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The Langdon Center in Granbury and the Tarleton State University Department of Visual Arts and Design will present the 25th Annual Rio Brazos Juried Art Exhibition at the Langdon Center Concert Hall, Saturdays and Sundays noon-5 p.m. April 8-23.
The juror, Fort Worth artist Daniel Blagg, will be at the closing reception, 2 p.m. April 23, to talk with the artists and hand out awards. Proceeds support scholarships in the studio art and digital media studies programs at Tarleton.
“The artists in this exhibition come from as near as Granbury to as far away as Florida, Michigan and Arizona,” said department head Chris Ireland, who coordinated the show. “It is truly a special occasion to see this level of contemporary art on display in one place for the people of Granbury and the Dallas-Fort Worth area.”
The artists employ a variety of media, including drawing, photography, painting, ceramics and colorful sculptures.

The Langdon Center Concert Hall is at Bridge and Brazos streets in Granbury.
