Tarleton jazz ensembles open season with music from the movies

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — The first performance of the semester for Tarleton State University jazz ensembles features iconic tunes from Hollywood films.

The concert, “Tarleton Jazz Goes to the Movies,” begins at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 11, in the auditorium of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center on the Stephenville campus.

Both Tarleton jazz ensembles, along with student vocalists, will perform songs from James Bond movies, “Aladdin,” “The Incredibles” and other well-known films.

Admission is free for Tarleton students, faculty and staff. General admission is $5.
