STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University was invited to participate in the elite Global Senior Leadership Symposium, Dec. 15 and 16.
The two-day virtual experience brings together international leadership teams from 45 diverse institutions, based on a selective application process, for interactive sessions led by world leaders from the host organizations. Participants should come away with insights and varied perspectives on how to tackle global mobility in today’s world.
“We look forward to engaging with our institutional and organizational colleagues to consider issues of internationalization at a time when those efforts will look and feel different due to the pandemic,” said Dr. Lesley Leach, Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs and Development at Tarleton. “The opportunity to dialogue with our peers as well as organizational colleagues such as EF Tours, The Forum on Education Abroad, and the Association of International Education Administrators will be invaluable as we chart the course for internationalization efforts at Tarleton.”
Also representing Tarleton at the event is Associate Provost and Associate Vice President for Academic Administration, Dr. Jordan Barkley, and Soncee Heard, Coordinator of Applied and Experiential Learning.
The symposium is an exclusive, first-of-its kind program model that will feature a combination of content from the 2020 Nobel Week Dialogue on “The Challenges of Learning” and interactive discussions with global peers around cutting-edge internationalization strategies.
