Tarleton hosts open house in Waco for prospective graduate students

WACO, Texas — Find out more about Tarleton State University’s graduate-level degree programs in Waco on Saturday, July 21, at an open house for prospective students.

The open house is set from 8:30 a.m. to noon at Tarleton-Waco’s campus in the Michaelis Academic Center at McLennan Community College, 1400 College Drive. Guests should RSVP at www.tarleton.edu/waco-open-house.

Guests will meet faculty, staff and current students as well as learn about the university’s admissions process and best practices for financing a graduate school education. Application fees will be waived for attendees who apply within a week of the open house.

Tarleton-Waco offers master’s programs in accounting, business administration, clinical mental health counseling, criminal justice, curriculum and instruction, educational administration, human resources and social work. The university’s doctorate of education (Ed.D.) program in educational leadership — available at the Waco campus — combines individualized study with specialized course work and research.

In addition to day, evening and weekend classes, Tarleton boasts a fully online Global Campus offering 20 e-learning opportunities.
