Tarleton-Fort Worth to Host Digital Innovation Summit

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Artificial intelligence will be the focus of the Digital Innovation Summit, theme “Living Behind the Screen,” Tuesday, April 18, at the Tarleton Fort Worth campus, 10850 Texan Rider Drive.

The summit, sponsored by the Texas Social Media Research Institute and the Rural Communication Institute as part of their 13th annual Texas Social Media Conference, begins at 3 p.m. with a Texas-style roundtable discussion on the impact of AI on Texas businesses, the education sector, health outcomes, and jobs and economic development.

A 4 p.m. session will feature live demonstrations of select AI tools followed by a TSMRI member relating her experience in a recent church sermon series focused on how members can be more prepared for AI.

An AI creation competition where participants use an AI tool to create social media images and posts will conclude the summit. Prizes will be awarded to the winners. Attendees will receive a 2.5 Hour Digital Innovation Summit participation certificate after the event.
