Tarleton-Fort Worth hosts open house for prospective transfer students

FORT WORTH, Texas—Find out more about Tarleton State University’s bachelor’s degree completion programs in Fort Worth on Saturday, Nov. 18, at an open house for prospective transfer students.

The open house is set from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on the fifth floor of Tarleton-Fort Worth’s center in the Hickman Building at 6777 Camp Bowie Blvd. Prospective students should RSVP at www.tarleton.edu/fortworth-open-house.

Meet faculty, staff and current students as well as learn about the university’s history, degree programs, admissions process and best practices for financing a university education. Academic advisers will provide one-on-one consultation beginning at 11:50 a.m. for students with transcripts.

Tarleton-Fort Worth offers bachelor’s degree completion programs in accounting, applied science, business, communication studies, computer information systems, criminal justice, criminal justice administration, general business, general studies, health professions technology, human resources management, information technology, interdisciplinary studies, management, manufacturing and industrial management, marketing, medical laboratory science, nursing, psychology and social work.

A number of graduate degree options also are available at Tarleton-Fort Worth, including a doctorate of education (Ed.D.) program that combines individualized study with specialized course work and research. College of Graduate Studies representatives will be at the open house to answer questions.

Tarleton offers day, evening and weekend classes, along with a fully online Global Campus with 20 e-learning programs.
