STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s Career Services Center hosts its annual spring job fair Wednesday, March 1, allowing students, alumni and the community to meet businesses and industries currently hiring.

The come-and-go event begins at 10 a.m. and continues until 2 p.m. in the Barry B. Thompson Student Center (TSC) Ballrooms. Appropriate business attire is required, and participants are encouraged to bring their resume and other applicable materials.

Applicants can interact with employers on a more personal level and receive career advice at a panel discussion set from 9 to 10 a.m. on the day of the job fair in Room 27 of the TSC. A post-job fair mixer is set from 2 to 3 p.m. in Room 27 with representatives from Fastenal Company, a leading distributor of industrial goods and services, and a job fair sponsor.

Employers interested in participating in the job fair can register via “Hire A Texan” at www.tarleton.edu/careers. Registration is $150, and an extra display table costs $75. After Feb. 24, registration is $180.

The Career Services Center is located in Room 218 on the second floor of the TSC on the Stephenville campus. Business hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. For more information, visit www.tarleton.edu/careerservices.
