STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Preschool Storytime at Tarleton’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas begins Thursday, Jan. 24, with Michael Rosen’s “We’re Going on a Bear Hunt.”
Renowned dance company Step Afrika! will perform at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, in the theater of the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center in Stephenville to kick off Tarleton State University’s celebration of Black History Month.
Roberto Ortiz has never set foot on the Stephenville campus of Tarleton State University. He’ll be there at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 14, though, standing on stage addressing his fellow graduates at commencement exercises.
A survey by online business publication 24/7 Wall Street places Tarleton State University in the top 10 schools nationwide with a rise in student applications.
Tarleton State University’s 2018 enrollment remains on pace to support student success, improve the first-year experience and increase applied-learning and research opportunities. Based on the 12th day of class report, 13,122 students are enrolled for the fall semester compared with 13,011 a year ago.
