STEPHENVILLE, Texas—Tarleton State University’s W.K. Gordon Center for Industrial History of Texas presents “What to do with Grandma’s Doilies,” at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25.

Suzann Thompson and Sandi Horton will make a presentation about the Celebrate Doilies! exhibit—running through March 5—with poetry reading by Horton along with tips for preserving family heirlooms.

The program is made possible in part with a grant from Humanities Texas, the state affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Admission to the Sunday Afternoon Program is free, and no reservations are required.

The museum, in historic Thurber, is open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays and 1 to 4 p.m. Sundays. It is located at Exit 367 on Interstate 20 between Fort Worth and Abilene. For more information, visit www.tarleton.edu/gordoncenter or the museum’s Facebook page.
