Tarleton State Campuses To Close for MLK Day

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University administrative offices will be closed Monday, Jan. 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

The University Health Center, offices for the Tarleton Alumni Association, the university’s Welcome Center, and Campus Recreation will close, as will the W.K. Gordon Museum and Research Center for Industrial History of Texas in Thurber and the Rickett Library on the Fort Worth campus.

The Dick Smith Library on the Stephenville campus will be open Monday from noon to 5 p.m. and the dining hall will observe regular Monday hours, opening at 7 a.m. and closing at 8 p.m. Texan Outfitters will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. but will not offer text book sales on Monday.

Normal hours for all university activities resume Tuesday, Jan. 20.
