A new external funding program at Tarleton State University aimed at preparing students for graduate school and seeking fellowships has seen its first cohort reach completion.
Tarleton State University Professor of Biological Sciences Christopher L. Higgins has been chosen to serve on the communications committee for the Organization of Biological Field Stations.
Dr. Thomas J. Faulkenberry, assistant professor of psychological sciences and Faculty Research Fellow at Tarleton State University, has been appointed to the editorial board for the Journal of Numerical Cognition.

Almost 150 donors kicked off the holiday season Tuesday with gifts supporting Tarleton State University students. In total, donors gave $164,173 to colleges, scholarships and student programs and activities, shattering last year’s mark of just over $26,000.
