The Texas High Education Coordinating Board (THECB) has approved new degree programs for Tarleton State University’s outreach centers in Fort Worth and Waco.

Tarleton to award more than 1,440 diplomas at spring commencement

Tarleton State University will conduct its largest ever graduation, with the anticipated awarding of 1,449 degrees this weekend during seven commencement ceremonies in Wisdom Gym on the school’s Stephenville campus.

Tarleton faculty tenure, promotions approved

Fifteen Tarleton State University faculty received tenure and an additional nine have been promoted, effective Sept. 1. The granting of tenure was based on recommendations from Tarleton President F. Dominic Dottavio and Provost Karen Murray approved this week by The Texas A&M University System’s Board of Regents.

Tarleton wins top award at international research conference in Poland

Two Tarleton State University students presented research this week at the University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland. One brought home top honors for his study on the nest survival of an endangered gamebird.

Tarleton to welcome students, instructors for FFA state contests Thursday

Approximately 1,350 FFA members and agricultural science instructors from across the state will gather on the campus of Tarleton State University Thursday, April 27, to compete for the chance to represent the Texas FFA Association in National FFA Career Development Events (CDE).

5,000 contestants expected on Tarleton campus for FFA Area contests

Several thousand high school students and their sponsors will visit Stephenville on Wednesday, April 19, for the annual Area FFA Career Development Events contest, hosted by Tarleton State University and the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences.
