When Tarleton State University graduates walk the stage this Friday and Saturday, a number of outstanding students will embody the core values of the school and exemplify the power of higher education to open doors to new ideas and change communities—and families—for the better.
Tarleton State University’s Child Development Center has received endorsement from the National Accreditation Commission for Early Care and Education Programs, making it the only NAC accredited facility within 60 miles of Stephenville.
STEPHENVILLE, Texas— Fall commencement exercises at Tarleton State University are set for Friday and Saturday, Dec. 15 and 16, with approximately 1,190 graduates receiving diplomas.
Almost 100 donors kicked off the holiday season Tuesday with a gift to support Tarleton State University students. All total, donors gave $26,295 to colleges, scholarships and student programs and activities.
Tarleton State University has received a final gift of $300,000 from the estate of the late provost Dr. Robert C. Fain to provide scholarships for students planning to teach secondary mathematics or chemistry.
Tarleton State University will close for the Thanksgiving holiday beginning at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 22, and reopen for normal business on Monday, Nov. 27. Several departments and facilities, however, will have modified hours to serve students during the holiday weekend.
