Early Closure at Tarleton State Ahead of Easter Weekend 

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — In observance of Easter, all Tarleton State University administrative offices will close at noon on Friday, April 3, 2026. No classes will be held April 3-6. Several campus facilities will operate on a modified schedule.

Dining Hall hours of operation will remain unchanged through the weekend. Chick-fil-A will operate from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, will be closed Saturday and Sunday, and will operate from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday. Oscar P’s General Store will close through the weekend and reopen from 2 to 10 p.m. Monday.

The Campus Recreation Center will close at 7 p.m. Thursday and 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The center will be closed Sunday, then reopen from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday.

The Aquatics Center will close at 5 p.m. Friday, operate on regular hours Saturday, and close on Sunday. Aquatics will reopen Monday from 1 to 5 p.m.

Both the Dick Smith Library in Stephenville and Rickett Library in Fort Worth will close at noon Friday and remain closed Saturday and Sunday. Dick Smith Library will reopen at noon Monday, and Rickett Library will reopen at 9 a.m. Monday.

Texan Outfitters will maintain regular business hours Friday and Saturday. The store will close Sunday in observance of Easter.

Normal campus operation hours will resume Monday, April 6.
