Tarleton Gallery Presents Tintamusik’s ‘To Sleep on a Bed of Tears’

Artist Narong Tintamusik’s exhibition “To Sleep on a Bed of Tears” is now open at Tarleton State University’s Clyde Wells Fine Arts Center gallery. It runs through Feb. 5 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.

Lake Granbury Medical Shares COVID Vaccine with Tarleton’s Frontline Staff

Sixteen Tarleton State University healthcare professionals and law enforcement officers received COVID-19 vaccinations Thursday thanks to Lake Granbury Medical Center. Those who received the vaccine are part of the CDC’s first priority group, designated as essential workers, and some are high risk.

New COVID-19 Relief Bill Offers Help for Tarleton Students

Included in the federal coronavirus relief package passed in December is more than $22 billion for higher education. For Tarleton State University, that means extra help for students financially impacted by COVID-19 and assistance with institutional expenses incurred because of the pandemic.

Tarleton Receives $1.5 Million for Nursing Scholarships

Retired Air Force Col. Charles Leigon decided years ago that he wanted his legacy to include helping Tarleton State University nursing students. In fact, he gifted the third-largest cash donation in university history.

Tarleton Names Del Carmen Director of Criminal Justice Institute

Tarleton State professor Dr. Alex del Carmen has been appointed director of the newly established Institute for Predictive Analytics in Criminal Justice. IPAC was approved by the Texas A&M University System Board of Regents at its November meeting.
