Tarleton State Rodeo Hall of Fame Induction Dinner Set for Nov. 21

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Reservations are being accepted for Tarleton State University’s 16th annual Rodeo Hall of Fame induction ceremonies at 7 p.m. Nov. 21 at the EECU Center. 

Five new members will be recognized, including Cassie Ward Ambrose, Kylie Ward Weast, Tibba Smith, Reggie Underwood and Jake Self.

Ambrose was a three-time College National Finals Rodeo qualifier in barrel racing; Weast, a three-time CNFR barrel racing qualifier, also competed in breakaway roping and goat tying; Smith was a decorated breakaway roper; Underwood, the current Rodeo Alumni Association President, rode broncs for Tarleton State and Self was a three-time CNFR bareback qualifier.

The annual event, which benefits the Tarleton Rodeo scholarship fund, features a reception followed by the induction, dinner and a live auction.
