Tarleton professor releases new book on historic Route 66

The University of Oklahoma Press has released a new book on historic Route 66 by Tarleton State University Professor T. Lindsay Baker. Titled Portrait of Route 66, the volume features unknown photographs of former U.S. Highway 66 from the archives of the Curt Teich postcard publishing company of Chicago.

Tarleton State University Associate Professor of English Dr. Moumin Quazi has published his first book, Migratory Words, a collection of short stories and poetry that will surprise readers with its humor, range and poignancy.

Tarleton announces Labor Day closures, modified operating hours

Tarleton launches shuttle service to reduce parking demand

Responding to the significant increase in parking demand, Tarleton State University has reached agreement with Lone Star Coaches to begin providing free shuttle bus service from The Grove and Mustang Ranch and from the First Baptist Church to campus, beginning on Thursday, Sept. 1.
