The faculty at Tarleton State University’s Mayfield College of Engineering paid a visit to Texas A&M’s Transportation Institute (TTI) to allow faculty a chance to explore TTI’s software and hardware facilities and to discover areas that could support collaboration in the future.
Dr. Joe Zietsman, TTI Deputy Agency Director and Chief Research Officer, invited his team to present some of TTI’s current projects to Tarleton State faculty. Plans are in the works to coordinate a series of technical talks where faculty will have a turn to present and highlight their expertise.
For each research topic TTI will invite researchers that work in that area of expertise to facilitate collaboration. The partnership between TTI and Tarleton State has a bright future with a technical tour coming up for faculty to visit the TTI facilities by the end of this year.
