Tarleton Choirs, Cross Timbers Chorale Present a Capella Masterworks

STEPHENVILLE, Texas — Tarleton State University’s Department of Performing Arts and the Cross Timbers Civic Chorale will present “Across the Sea: Music of the United States and England” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 1, in the Clyde H. Wells Fine Arts Center Auditorium. 

The program features a cappella masterpieces such as C.V. Stanford’s Beati quorum via and Alice Parker’s “Hark, I Hear the Harps Eternal.” Tarleton’s Texan Harmony will sing the Wailin’ Jennys’ “Across the Sea,” and a homegrown barbershop quartet, the Tarletones, will make an appearance, as well. 

Tickets are $10, or free with Tarleton ID. The concert is general admission, with tickets available at the box office that night.
