Mission Statement
The Dr. Sam Pack College of Business’s (DSPCOB) Executive Advisory Board works to advance the mission of the College by promoting the visibility and enhancing the reputation of our educational programs and outreach activities. It provides guidance and assistance to improve our competitiveness through our academic offerings, faculty and staff development, and student recruitment, retention, and placement.
Opportunities for DSPCOB Executive Board Involvement
- Promoting visibility and reputation of DSPCOB programs in the region.
- Assisting in academic program development.
- Assisting in recruitment, retention, development, and placement of DSPCOB students
- Partnering with DSPCOB to further internationalization efforts.
- Partnering with DSPCOB in fundraising efforts to support initiatives such as:
- General scholarships.
- Study abroad scholarships.
- Faculty research enhancement fund.
- Periodic updating of DSPCOB recruitment materials.
- Updating of educational technology.
- Assisting to bridge the gap between the classroom and the business by:
- Serving as guest lectures/speakers.
- Facilitating development of student and faculty internships.
- Partnering with DSPCOB in Executive Mentoring Program.
- Partnering/sponsoring DSPCOB Student Organizations.
- Other ideas are welcome.
