Mission Statement
COB’s Executive Advisory Board works to advance the mission of the College by promoting the visibility and enhancing the reputation of our educational programs and outreach activities. It provides guidance and assistance to improve our competitiveness through our academic offerings, faculty and staff development, and student recruitment, retention and placement.
Opportunities for COB Executive Board Involvement
- Promoting visibility and reputation of COB programs in the region.
- Assisting in academic program development.
- Assisting in recruitment, retention, development and placement of COB students
- Partnering with COB to further internationalization efforts.
- Partnering with COB in fund-raising efforts to support initiatives such as:
- General scholarships.
- Study abroad scholarships.
- Faculty research enhancement fund.
- Periodic updating of COB recruitment materials.
- Updating of educational technology.
- Assisting to bridge the gap between the classroom and the business by:
- Serving as guest lectures / speakers.
- Facilitating development of student and faculty internships.
- Partnering with COB in Executive Mentoring Program.
- Partnering / sponsoring COB Student Organizations.
- Other ideas are welcomed.
