Entrepreneurs of Erath Business Plan Competition

The College of Business along with sponsors such as:

• Stephenville Economic Development Foundation Inc.
• Stephenville Economic Development Authority
• Dublin Economic Development Corporation
• Stephenville Chamber of Commerce
• Small Business Development Center
• City of Stephenville
• and with support from the university

Bi-annually, we host a business plan competition designed to inspire and promote economic development within Erath county. Open to not only students but anyone interested in starting their own business those who place are eligible for cash prizes and in-kind services. Most recently, we’ve also been able to arrange for the first-place winner to be automatically entered into the Fort Worth Business Plan Competition where they will receive additional help in preparing their business to launch.
