  • Documented status as unhoused, in foster care, a ward of the state, or an orphan.
  • Written certification from a school counselor, college-access adviser, or other authorized official that payment of the application fee would constitute a financial hardship.
  • Home school students only- Submit a copy of the parent/guardian’s most recent income tax form to determine if the student would qualify for free/reduced lunches.
  • Military (is not subject to the ‘one year of the application term’ requirement):
    • Active duty – provide current LES.
    • Veteran – provide DD214 with Honorable or General discharge.
