Extended Stay Form
This form is for students that need an extended stay past close-down on Thursday, May 7, at 10am. The latest date to extend your stay would be Monday, May 11th, at 10am.

This form will close on Friday, May 1, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
Continuing student housing application
- This application will open March 2nd and close March 16th
- There are no guaranteed spaces.
- Applicants are selected based off a lottery system for the fairest process.
- There is no application fee for continuing students.
- It will not be self-selection. We will batch assign students based on availability.
- Students will have an opportunity to list their preferences in the application.
- Residence Life will begin assigning students as early as March 23, 2026 and continue throughout April 2026. Students will be notified via email letting them know if they received a placement or not.
- Students will need to be registered by May 4th (or show us documentation/proof of an advising appointment) in order to keep their assignment. After that date, we will not assign unless they are registered.
- If students don’t get selected, they can choose to add themselves to a waitlist.
- Students will get an email (go.tarleton) with more details closer to the application opening.
Summer 2026 Housing Application Details
The Summer 2026 Housing Application will open 4/1/2026 and close 6/15/2026!
Housing Assignments:
- All Continuing and Transfer Students will be assigned to Integrity Hall @ $1687.00/semester. Students must be registered for Summer 2026 or Fall 2026 in order to stay on campus.
- If student currently lives in Fireside Apartments and wants to stay in their space for Summer 2026 (after completing a Summer 2026 housing application in student housing portal) for the dates 5/22/26 – 7/31/26 the cost would be $2275.00 for the summer semester.
- There is a two week gap from spring close-down to start of summer semester, 5/12/26 – 5/21/26 that will also be a flat rate of $125.00.
All housing assignments will be made by the Residence Life Office. Students are encouraged to submit their applications early to ensure timely processing. No application fee is required for Summer application.
All students living on campus for summer housing are required to have the following meal plan:
- Meal Plan 15
- Price – $2330.00
- 15 swipes in Dining Hall – Monday through Sunday
- Lunch and Dinner only
- No dining dollars or meal exchanges.

Housing Contract Cancellation Charges
The Housing Contract is binding for the entire Academic Year (Fall and Spring Semesters) or any remaining portion thereof if the Contract is signed after the start of classes of the Fall semester.
If the Student terminates this Housing Contract for the Fall or Spring semester, the Student will be responsible for the following Housing Use Charges:
(A) CHARGES FOR THE FALL SEMESTER:
- Prior to May 15th – no penalty
- May 15th to May 31st – $350
- June 1st to June 30th – $450
- July 1st to July 31st – $600
- August 1st (or after move-in) – 80% of Academic year

All Tarleton State students living on campus are furnished a post office box. For large packages that don’t fit in your mailbox, students receive an email to their go.tarleton account advising them a package is available for pickup at the Post Office. Please visit the Thompson Student Center to receive your T-box number and your mailbox key when you arrive on campus.
When sending mail to a student, use the following format:

The Tarleton State Post Office is an approved postal delivery location and you can receive your overnight letters and/or packages with your T-box address.
IN HALL MAILBOXES – Heritage, Integrity, Traditions, Honors, Texan Hall – larger packages that do not fit into box, can be picked up at TSC Post Office located in the Barry Thompson Student Center.
Here are a few things that are prohibited in the halls:
- Air Fryers, Electric skillets, deep fryers, toaster ovens, grills (indoor or outdoor)
- Personal refrigerators or AC window units
- Extension cords (bring surge protector strips instead)
- Multi-plug outlet extensions
- Space heaters
- Halogen lamps, all flexible-neck lamps
- Candles, fireworks, weapons and/or ammunition
- Outside antennas
- Traffic signs
- Decorative Christmas/party lights
- Products that could damage paint/wall surfaces (e.g., nails, screws)
- Steel-tipped darts and dartboards
- Alcoholic beverages or decorative items made from alcoholic containers (regardless of age)
- Pets (exception includes a fish in a 10 gallon tank or smaller)
- Open coil heating elements, such as toasters
- Additional Micro-fridge, mini-fridge or microwave (appliances are provided)
- Any appliance or electronic device that does not have a UL listing attached to it.
