Maintenance Requests

Submission Process:

  1. Log into my gateway and access the student housing portal.
    • Locate the Room Maintenance button on the top panel.
  2. Select the “Job type”, select the “New Maintenance Request” button.
  3. Select the location (bedroom or common areas), the category (ex. Plumbing, HVAC, Windows), and the “item” that is wrong in the space.
    • Include details in “Additonal Description” if needed.
  4. Enter the room space and room letter in the last box before completing the maintenance request.
    • Select “save job” to complete the submission of the maintenance request.

Please maintain your work order number so that Residence Life staff can easily review updates to your maintenance concern upon your request.

Emergency

For emergent facility situations like smoke or fire, please contact 911 immediately and notify Residence Life staff so they can assist as needed.

For other emergent concerns like active water leaks, loss of power, or concerns affecting your immediate safety, please contact your Residence Hall on-call number so that staff can assist in addressing the issue as soon as possible.
