What is Transfer Takeover?
- Transfer Takeover is an orientation experience for transfer students!
- At Transfer Takeover, you will register for your first semester of classes, get your official Tarleton student ID, and check out your residence hall, if you are living on campus. You will have the chance to meet with departments like financial aid, admissions, and housing to take care of your other enrollment steps.
- Transfer students that have an assignment for Spring 2026, will be moving in the morning of January 9, 2026 starting at 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. and they will start their orientation and convocation on January 9th at 1 p.m. The event is not mandatory so we will keep the check in open all afternoon to support those that are interested in moving in later during the day.

Summer 2026 Housing Application Details
The Summer 2026 Housing Application will open 4/1/2026 and close 6/15/2026! Student Housing Portal
Housing Assignments:
- All New Incoming FTIC (First Time in College) Students will be assigned to Centennial Hall.
- All Continuing and Transfer Students will be assigned to Integrity Hall.
All housing assignments will be made by the Residence Life Office. Students are encouraged to submit their applications early to ensure timely processing. No application fee is required for Summer application.
For questions or assistance, please contact the Residence Life Office.
All Tarleton students living on campus are furnished a post office box. For large packages that don’t fit in your mailbox, students receive an email to their go.tarleton account advising them a package is available for pickup at the Post Office. Please visit the Thompson Student Center to receive your T-box number and your mailbox key when you arrive on campus.
When sending mail to a student, use the following format:

The Tarleton Post Office is an approved postal delivery location and you can receive your overnight letters and/or packages with your T-box address.
IN HALL MAILBOXES – Heritage, Integrity, Traditions, Honors, Texan Hall – larger packages will be delivered to TSC Post Office.
