Submit Transcripts

You may request that your high school send your final transcript either electronically or by mail to:

All official transcripts will need to have a school signature and school seal. Transcripts can be sent by mail in a sealed envelope, or you can send an electronic copy via one of the following programs:

  • Parchment/Naviance
  • TREX (Texas Only)
  • Escript
  • Scribbles

In order to receive college credit for dual-credit courses and/or other colleges/university courses, you must submit an official college/university transcript. We cannot post dual-credit from a high school transcript. Please complete a request at all colleges and/or universities you attended.

The student is responsible for sending official transcripts from every institution they have attended. Most transcripts can be sent electronically from previous institutions, through the following:

  • Escrip-safe (Credentials Solutions)
  • Parchment
  • National Clearinghouse

You may need to check with the institution that you are requesting your transcript from to see which option they use.

Those who complete the International Baccalaureate Diploma and meet the State of Texas requirements will be granted credit for a minimum of 24 semester hours. Order an official International Baccalaureate transcript.

Submit Test Scores

Official SAT and ACT test scores must be sent directly from the testing agency. Tarleton will not accept test scores from the high school. Tarleton’s SAT code is 6817. Tarleton’s ACT code is 4204.

High school graduates must have Official AP scores sent from College Board for evaluation. To obtain your scores, visit the College Board. Please have scores mailed to:

The Texas Success Initiative (TSI) is a two-part exam that assesses your academic readiness in math, reading, and writing. Your scores will be used to place you in the correct courses to set you up for college success. Students are required to take the TSI Assessment prior to beginning the first semester of classes unless qualified for an exemption.

TSI Placement Scores

The TSI Assessment is taken prior to enrolling in your first semester to determine your levels in Reading, Math, and Writing. You may be exempt from TSI Assessment based on test scores or previous coursework completed.

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Record

All students, under the age of 22 are required to receive a bacterial meningitis vaccination or provide exemption/decline documentation before the first day of the semester.
