Explaining the Guaranteed Scholarship Program

What do Tarleton students think about the Guaranteed Scholarship Program?

3 1

“It’s great! As long as I keep my grades up, I keep my scholarship. It felt good when I got the email about it coming into college as a freshman because it showed that the hard work I put into my grades and SAT in high school was worth it. I don’t have to worry about searching for scholarships each year either, so I can just focus on my school work.” – Sara Blasingame

“[The Guaranteed Scholarship Program for Transfers] helps me financially! Since I pay for my own schooling, every penny counts.” – Haylee Huskey

“It gives me not only money to pay for college but also helps me get more because of my class standing.” – Jessica Vick

Students submitting the scholarships application after the February 15 deadline will be eligible as funding allows. It is in the student’s best interest to apply as soon as possible.

Alternate information (primarily but not necessarily exclusively, high school GPA) will be utilized to determine the annual guarantee level.

In order to keep your Guaranteed Scholarship Program reward, you must uphold a 2.75 GPA and remain a full-time student.
