How to Apply
Submit Your Application
Students can apply through Tarleton State’s application or ApplyTexas. We don’t have a preference!

Pay the Application Fee
The application fee is required for all applicants, (excluding returning students) regardless of prior acceptance, admission, and/or enrollment in courses at Tarleton. Fee Waivers are available.
The $50 non-refundable application fee can be paid:
- Electronically with either application
- Online at Tarleton State University
- Check or money order by mail to: Box T-0030, Stephenville, TX 76402
Submit Your College Transcript(s)
You are responsible for sending official transcripts from every institution they have attended. We cannot post dual credit from a high school transcript. Most transcripts can be sent electronically from previous institutions, through the following:
- Escrip-safe (Credentials Solutions)
- Parchment
- National Clearinghouse
Please use transfer@tarleton.edu as the receiving email.
Application Deadlines

Requirements for Admission
The following requirements must be met:
- Submit an application for admission
- Be in good standing at Tarleton or any other college or university attended
- Meet the cumulative GPA requirements:

| 2.00 | 24+ transferrable credits | No | Stephenville and Fort Worth campuses |
| 2.25 | 12- 23 transferrable credits | Yes | Waco, Texas A&M-RELLIS, Online campuses |
| 2.25 | 12- 23 transferrable credits | No | Stephenville and Fort Worth campuses |
| 2.00 | 1-23 transferrable credits (plus meet high school requirements) | No | Stephenville and Fort Worth campuses |
Requirements are subject to changes as outlined by the Academic Standards Committee.
You must be eligible to enroll at all previously attended regionally accredited institutions and submit official transcripts.
