Texan Services here at Tarleton State University offers a variety of services for our students. We look forward to serving and supporting you as you transition into the Fall 2020 semester and through successful completion of the 2020-21 academic year. There are a number of ways that you can access our services. Please use this page to navigate all of the ways we are here to provide support for you.

Financial Aid

Tarleton's Financial Aid office provides Federal, State and Institutional grants, loans and student employment options to assist undergraduate and graduate students admitted to a degree seeking program.

The Financial Aid staff members can meet with students in person, via email and phone to discuss your financial circumstances and answer any questions you may have regarding your aid.

Tarleton's Scholarship Office provides incoming freshmen and returning students and parents with information regarding scholarships such as: scholarship eligibility, Tarleton's General Scholarship Application process and private scholarship processing.

The Scholarship Office is here to answer any questions you may have regarding the scholarship process here at Tarleton. There are appointments available in person, via email and phone.

Veteran Services

The Veterans Service Center provides assistance to student veterans and military connected students. This assistance includes certification of VA education benefits, processing of Hazlewood Exemptions, and providing direct contact to university and community resources.

Welcome Center

Tarleton's Welcome Center hosts campus tours, group tours and campus preview events. Guests can come in and join a campus tour, or sit down with an admissions counselor to go over admission applications and your next steps once you've been admitted to Tarleton State University.

TRIO Programs

The Federal TRIO Programs (TRIO) are Federal outreach and student service programs designed to identify and provide service for individuals from disadvantaged backgrounds.

TRIO includes eight programs targeted to serve and assist low-income individuals, first-generation college students and individuals with disabilities to progress through the academic pipeline from middle school to postbaccalaureate programs.

The Registrar's Office provides registration assistance, drop/withdrawal information, enrollment verification, campus update requests, course exception processing, answers to FERPA/Privacy questions, official academic transcripts, degree conferral and diploma printing.
