CCAMPIS is a Federal Grant funded by the U.S. Department of Education that offers financial assistance to low-income, undergraduate student-parents in need of affordable, quality childcare services during their pursuit of post-secondary education. The goal of CCAMPIS is to provide services that help student-parents stay enrolled in classes and graduate with a degree. At this time CCAMPIS is currently not taking new applicants. In order for student-parents to be accepted into the CCAMPIS Program, student-parents must meet ALL the following criteria: 

  • Student must be Pell Grant Eligible for the current year based on the Financial Aid Application (FAFSA) and must have a FAFSA on file with the Financial Aid Office to determine student aid index (SAI)
  • Student must be enrolled in at least six (6) hours of Tarleton specific courses for Fall/Spring Semesters; and three (3) Tarleton specific hours during Summer Semesters. Coverage period of childcare will occur when the student-parent is actively enrolled in classes; CCAMPIS will not cover childcare costs when a student is not taking courses.
  • Student must maintain a 2.0 GPA 
  • Student’s child must attend a TRS or NAEYC accredited childcare facility
