Where is the Mathematics Building located on campus?
The Mathematics Building is located on Doc Blanchard and Vanderbilt Street. We are next to Trogdon House, Clyde H Wells Fine Arts Complex, and near the Dick Smith Library.

Dr. Smith’s office is located in the Mathematics Building, Room 142.

Will I need a ……?
Most of your questions will be answered on the first day of class by the instructor and with the course syllabi.
Most Mathematics classes utilize graphing calculators and if you do not have a graphing calculator, the Math Club/T.E.A.M. rents them out for the semester. Check out the Student Resources for their website.
Can someone help me?
If you are lost or confused in your class, check with your instructor first. Their office numbers and office hours will be on the course syllabi and on their websites.
If you need additional help, the Mathematics Department staffs a Math Clinic where student tutors can help answer your questions. Check the Math Achievement Center website for hours of operation.
Academic Support Programs also run Supplemental Instruction sessions for some courses. Check with your instructor for details.
Where can I do my on-line homework?
If you do not have access to a computer to do online homework, computers are located at:

How do I drop a class?
Refer to the Registrar’s site for the System policy on dropping courses.
When are midterms and finals?
Check out the catalog, your student handbook/planner or the Tarleton State University website. Your course syllabi should also list the day and time of the final.
