Tarleton math faculty and students were prominently featured in this year’s meeting of the MAA Texas section. The 2023 MAA Texas Section meeting will be hosted by Tarleton State University.
This conference is one of the largest and most prestigious high-performance computing conferences in the world. It is held each year in Silicon Valley. This conference is international and highly selective. It pulls in the top researchers from industry and universities from around the world.
Dr. Bryant Wyatt, Dr. John Gresham, and Michael Warren attended the virtual conference ICTCM 2022 on Monday, March 14 (pi day). One of the highlights of the program was a keynote presentation by Margot Lee Shetterly, author of the book “Hidden Figures: The Untold Story of the Black Women Who Helped Win the Space Race.”
This year’s RCML conference was attended by faculty members Dr. Kathy Smith, Melissa Eubank, Michael Warren, Dr. Beth Riggs, and Dr. Eileen Faulkenberry.
